Location and saved places
Grant location access to see distance and direction from your device. In Alerts, add a place and choose its radius. Allow notifications in iOS Settings. Always location access is optional for the moving “Where I am” zone. If a save fails, reopen Alerts and refresh to retry synchronization.
Missing data or notifications
Coverage and latency vary by provider and region. Unavailable data does not mean no lightning. Network access, iOS notification settings and Focus can affect delivery. A successful test request means Apple accepted it; check your device to confirm receipt. Boltwatch is for weather awareness. Follow official weather warnings and local safety guidance.
